With Visa Account Level Management, consumers get the same account for life

¹ A new account number must be issued if a card is lost or stolen, or an account is compromised. In this case, the issuer can link the old account to the new one to ensure consumer benefits are uninterrupted and to maintain the consumers’s spend history.
* The ALM platform uses a unique Visa numeric that allows for dynamic segmentation at the account level instead of static licensing attributes, called a Registered Program Identification Number (RPIN).
